HISTORY OF KC BEER FEST:
KC Beer Fest was founded in 2007 by the Kansas City CARE Clinic (formerly Kansas City Free Health Clinic) and the AIDS Service Foundation of Greater Kansas City. Over 16,000 beer connoisseurs and first-timers have attended KC Beer Fest over the years, sampling hundreds of craft brews from around the world. In 2013, Flying Saucer brought KC Beer Fest home to the Kansas City Power & Light District. The festival has been a huge success and is viewed by many as the premier craft beer festival in not only Kansas City, but the Midwest.
The Power & Light District and the City have multiple parking garages and surface lots within and surrounding the District. Park for just $2 at the KC Live! garage when you dine or shop in the District. Enter the KC Live! Garage from 13th Street. Just mention you are going to the Power & Light District for KC Beer Fest on Saturday, September 10th, 2016 to receive parking for $2. View printable map
All guests entering the festival must be 21 years of age or older. Due to space and safety concerns, children and strollers will not be admitted. Dogs are not allowed.
